The updated program will take effect on July 30, 2026, replacing the existing New Selection Program. Sellers currently enrolled in the program will automatically receive the new benefits for eligible branded FBA products launched between July 30 and October 31, 2026 as part of an introductory period.
What’s New in the New Selection Program (2026)?
Amazon has expanded benefits across fees, storage, returns, and promotional tools to help brands accelerate product launches.
1. Reduced Launch Costs Through Fee Credits
Eligible new-to-FBA products can receive:
- Fee credits equivalent to capping referral fees at 10% (or the seller’s existing rate, whichever is lower) on the first 100 units sold
- Fee credits equivalent to capping referral fees at 5% (or the seller’s existing rate, whichever is lower) on the next 100 units sold
- Credits apply to major selling costs, including referral and fulfillment fees
2. Enhanced Marketing Support
To help drive visibility and reviews for new products, Amazon is also providing:
- $50 in coupon variable fee credits
- $75 in Amazon Vine enrollment fee credits (middle tier)
These credits can be used during the first 60 days after launch.
3. Free Logistics Benefits
For the first 200 units and first 120 days, eligible products will receive:
- Free storage
- Free customer returns processing
- Free inventory liquidations
- No low-inventory-level fees
- No storage utilization surcharges
4. Additional Benefits with Vine Pre-Launch
Sellers using Amazon’s Vine Pre-launch Service will receive an additional 45-day extension on eligible program benefits, providing even more time to generate reviews and build momentum.
